Victory Tally

Something I’ve struggled with over the past few weeks is letting satan make me feel defeated. Like I couldn’t do anything right and that I could never change. (Not a wise choice I know, but you know how easy it is to do.) My mom and I were talking one day and as I vented to her my frustration with how I’d been feeling she said she had a challenge for me.
“I have a challenge for you…see how many days in a row you can live victoriously in the promises of God. Those that He has given us all and those He has shown you specifically in regard to your calling. You are living defeated too much and when we live defeated, we can’t do what God is calling us to do…all a part of satan’s plan…who’s plan do you want to win?”
That definitely hit me in the face. I do not want to live defeated, it’s no fun whatsoever.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)
More than conquerors. That’s talking about us.
The things you’re going through may be hard or you may just kinda be lost in a sea of confusion, BUT, we do not have to live defeated.
So, I’m going to pass the challenge on to you! Wherever you are in your walk with the Lord and whatever season you’re in…live in victory.
The war is already won anyways.
